I really enjoyed creating this series of classes - the challenge to design something achievable in a morning but with scope for development and embellishment really required my imagination and experience to work closely together.  Creating lavender bags means that you won't have something that just sits in a drawer.  I am really looking forward to teaching these classes, and I love Artisan as a place to learn.

The five weeks see us creating a beetle a week using five techniques: surface stitch, goldwork, whitework, blackwork and silk shading; all worked on white linen to create a series of beautiful and unique lavender bags. It promises to be great fun with lots of scope for adding your own personal touches.
