Event Details

We will work with metallic thread, learning about its quirks and qualities whilst creating a stylish cherrystone heat pad.

The course will cover will cover the basics of goldwork technique, working with Japanese thread, pearl purl, chipping and kid. It will be taught hands on, demonstration and instruction.

By the end of the workshop you will understand the application and limitations of working with metallic thread and be ready to go on to more complex designs.  All levels of stitchers are welcome and the kit comes with everything you need.
