Repair Restoration Conservation

I love to breathe new life considerately into beautiful meaningful objects. If you have an old family piece of lace or embroidery that you would like restored, I can help. I understand the meaning and emotional connection that these items carry and always take this into account. Cleaning and repairing items of hand embroidery is right up my street. So much so that I was invited to join the BBC One Repair Shop team - and I love it.  Please do get in touch if you have an item needing repair, I'm ready to help.

I have worked on all manner of embroidered items, samplers are a big favourite of mine. So be it an old embroidery that has come loose, furniture covering that needs repair or even a ceremonial shabraque I am ready to have a look.

Commissions

I undertake all manner of hand embroidery commissions, both small and large. My background training in art and design and my experience of how to combine techniques, materials and designs enable me to help advise you on how to bring your ideas to life. Whether it's a small ring cushion for a wedding, or adding a name on a christening gown, or a large project involving a great deal of work, please contact me to discuss how I can help you and I can provide a quotation for the work.
