People love this embroidery, slightly quirky but great fun and a joy to complete.  Particularly at the beautiful and tranquil Swallows and Artisans complete with lovely cakes and lunch.  What is there not to love?  

Over three days we will create a beautiful hand embroidered beetle – you will learn goldwork, silk shading and various surface stitches and will work on white linen. Come and enjoy brushing up on your embroidery skills or learn some new techniques - the class is suitable for beginners or those with some experience. At the end of the course you will have learnt several traditional embroidery techniques, some tricks of the trade and will be going home with everything you need to construct a beautiful lavender bag.
