Embroidery Group @ Appleby Hub

Event Details

For a year Pre-Covid 19 I ran an Embroidery group in the Abbot Hall Social Centre in Kendal it proved very popular. Through contacts I got together a group of twelve embroiderers of all different skill levels and we met weekly in Kendal (12 was enough to preserve the atmosphere and my ability to give people plenty of attention). It was a very flexible arrangement, people came when they wanted, working on a pay as you go basis. Usually I had somewhere between 8 and 10 from the group attend weekly.  I know Appleby well and I'm looking to expand my activities in Cumbria so the brilliant Appleby Hub is a great location.

In my earlier life I was a Registered General Nurse and ran operating theatres in London - including during the initial stages of the AIDs epidemic.  So I am very familiar with infection control, I've done my Covid 19 risk assessment and I'm confident that I can safely start the groups up again.   With this in mind I'll have to limit weekly attendance to six to begin with. 

The group will meet on Monday mornings in the Appleby Hub.
