We will begin with Goldwork using Japanese thread, pearl purl, chipping and rococo. Then on to experiment with various surface stitches including trailing, Silk Shading, satin stitch, French knots, heavy chain stitch, Pekinese stitch and turkey rug.

Event Details

Come and enjoy two days of stitching, either taking your practice to the next level or revisiting a forgotten skill.

By the end of this two-day class you will have become acquainted with a number of intermediate stitches whilst creating a beautiful beetle.

The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.

This class will run from 10am-4pm at The Storey, Meeting House Lane, Lancaster, LA1 1TH
