During this Introduction to Embroidery class you will learn some of the foundations of surface stitching, including stem stitch, chain stitch, split stitch, fly stitch, buttonhole stitch, French knots and various forms of back stitch.

Event Details

A beginners course for the RSN @ Lancaster. For those who are new to stitching, or if you feel a bit rusty, come and enjoy a day getting to grips with needle and thread. We will create a beautiful, colourful needle case using various surface stitches – including various back stitches, chain stitch, stem stitch and others. The kit contains everything you need to complete the project, including full instructions so no pressure to finish on the day. Although instructive, the class is fun and relaxing.
