Yorkshire and Humber Embroiderers' Guild Summer School

Event Details

I've worked with the Embroiderers' Guild on their summer school programme and will be delivering this weekend of classes for the Yorkshire and Humber group. We will work together doing Silk Shading. During the weekend we'll start with design - a colour drawing, a shaded drawing, a stitch direction and an order of work. Moving on we will work on several samples before stitching the actual poppy. You will leave the class with an understanding of silk shading and ready to tackle your own projects. Overall it will be a relaxing fun weekend creating a beautiful piece and learning the key techniques.
